Thanksgiving Feast

Austin had a Thanksgiving Feast on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, he was really excited about it, and even more excited that he got to contribute by bringing carrots for the FEAST. And to top it all off, his little friend Tristen came over to play before school. They always have the best time together and he is the sweetest little boy. I am so glad they are friends!
but both are very camera shy!!!

I had 2 photo shoots scheduled during the time Austin was at school so I didn't think I was going to be able to make it, but luckily I had very cooperative clients and we finished early so I got to surprise Austin! I was able to make it just in time for "The Feast" Austin's class were the pilgrims and the other classroom full of Indians came to feast with his class...super cute!!!
The best part was Austin didn't see me come in, so I got to see the real Austin, and not the "showing off for mom" Austin.
I whispered his name and he got the BIGGEST smile on his face and then turned into his goofy silly self and popped all of his favorite black olives in his mouth. They do this cute little song before they have snack that has actions with their hands...I am going to write it down next time because it is soooo cute!!!

Then while the other kids finished and then sat down for story time, Austin was still eating his FEAST...(just like his daddy)
he was the last one...and finished every last bite!
He finished just in time to go out for RECESS!!!

Then the kids all came back in and they got to dance around and sing some fun Thanksgiving songs and play a Turkey game. I was so happy when Austin got to be one of the Turkey's and so was he!!!

Austin had a lot of fun and seems to be liking school a little more now, but he has his days. I am so thankful for him in my life and the joy and happiness he brings me and all those around him, I love how he can make me laugh and smile even when I am "trying" to be mad or angry. He is a very special blessing to our family! And I think he received an over abundance of prayers while he was that tiny newborn premature baby, because he is the youngest in his class, but this little preemie is the TALLEST in his class...can you believe it!!
