I have had a cold/fever for the last couple days. I was complaining to my sister that my back was hurting and Austin chimes in saying "Mom, that is why we need to take care of our bodies."

Austin 6 years old
Austin is our darling little boy. He is such a good big brother, he loves his little sister, Alyssa, and protects her in every way. They love to play together AND fight with eachother. Austin is starting 1st grade!, and he seems excited, he will be going to a charter school with his cousin Abby who I hope will be in his same class, so hopefully this will help him to be more comfortable with being away from home!! I know he will do well, he is so smart! I can't believe my baby is a little boy. Austin is a natural athlete and is very active. He is our careful kid, and analyzes everything. He loves to cuddle and is very affectionate, there isnt a day that goes by that he doesnt come up to us out of the blue give us a hug and tell us he loves us! He is our every day miracle and evidence of the power of prayer. We love our sweet boy and would stop time right now if we could. He love books about dinosaurs, and especially SHARKS!!
Alyssa 5 Years Old
Alyssa is still busy, busy, busy. She is a leader and a boss! She is fearless she will do anything...which makes me and her dad very nervous. She is the one out of the group of kids that will pick up the snail, spider, ant, bugs to examine them. She is so happy...most of the time, she is definitely a Drama Queen...I am already nervous for the teen years. One word -DIVA!!! She loves to dance, and can't help but shake her booty to any rhythm. She looks up to Austin and copies everything he does. She gives the best hugs and kisses! and is the one in the family that reminds us to say our prayers, by folding her arms and bowing her head at meals and at bed time. She also reminds us all to brush our teeth and take our vitamins. She doesn't forget ANYTHING She is a caretaker, a natural mother, very caring and nurturing and is always aware of others. She is such a sweetheart. She is our Angel. She starts kindergarten in the fall and will be going to school with Austin.and is more than ready, she is reading and doing so well in math, so proud!

- We met in high school, We were high school sweethearts and have been married for 8 years, we have 2 beautiful children, 1 boy and 1 girl, we cherish our family! Chad is working for Intermountain Health Care and is currently attending SLCC to obtain his degree in Nursing, and then plans to go on to UofU to obtain his Bachelors so that he can go on to become a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant. Kristen stays at home with the kids, and also takes care of her sisters children, its a full house, a lot of work, but also a lot of fun!! Kristen started her own photography business about almost 2 years ago and has been very successful thus far. We are hoping that when Chad has to quit his job so he can attend the nursing program full time, that she will be able to support the family with the success of her business :)

Ha ha, he's too funny. I loved his comment from the hockey game when you said "there's daddy" and he said " and his cute little bum" ... or something. He cracks me up.
