My mom had taken Alyssa to Smith's Grocery store with her and let her ride the $.50 carousel ride on the way out. My mom said that it almost made her laugh out loud at how long the ride lasted. Alyssa couldn't stop talking about it and wanted to go back, so my mom insisted that I take the kids and this way I could see how ridiculously long this ride lasted. So Austin, Alyssa and their cousin Abby and I piled into the car over to Smith's not for groceries but to ride their awesome carousel. It played several songs and lasted so long that Austin and Abby were trying to climb off before it stopped. They had a good time though! Alyssa still can't stop talking about the horsies. I think I will start using this as an incentive. I think I can handle a $.50 carousel ride for doing good deeds. Austin was so bummed to find out that the helicopter didn't work but that didn't stop him from playing in the helicopter.

Good idea! I like that bribe! I'll have to start using it.
Isn't it great when they love cheap thrills!! And yes, we will definetly have to take our kids fishing. Noah loves it, and so does Adam. Lets plan something! Maybe even an overnight camping trip would be fun!
Is this the one on 90th S and 40th W?
Yes, it's that very one.
